What is the Singles Program?

The APA Poolplayer Championship (National Singles Championship) is one of the most popular benefits of APA membership. This annual series of events begins at the Local Level, and ends with the APA's Poolplayer Championship at the Las Vegas Westgate Resort. Over the years APAnyc has produced 3 national women's champions, 3 national men's champions, and many top 10 finishers who have brought home 10s of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes, along with memories they will never forget.

How it works.

Its a 3-tier program with events on a local, regional and national level.  For the first tier, a player would enter a local singles qualifier (singles board). A board is usually an 8 person event scheduled at the tournament directors discretion and the winner advances to a regional level.  For our region, two regional events are held each year - on in March and one in October.  At this event a member must win up to 4 matches to advance to a national event held at the Westgate in Las Vegas. At this event participants are split into four skill level tiers to compete for a piece of a $400.000.00 price fund.
